API Change Policies
How We Notify You of Changes
New Feature Policies
Uniswap Labs is committed to continuous improvement of its APIs and their underlying services. From time to time we may offer new features, some of which may be backwards compatible and some of which may require new integration. When we have something exciting and new to share with you, we will post it here along with including it in our documentation. Once a new feature has reached maturity, we will remove the notice, but you can always find the features in our documentation and guides.
Sunsetting Policies
In order to continue offering state-of-the-art APIs, Uniswap Labs must deprecate unused or outdated features of the APIs from time to time. Sunsetting allows the company to free up resources and time by eliminating technical debt, test case maintenance, and human support through the removal of features and endpoints which are antiquated, not aligned with the best user experience, or superseded through new flexible options.
When Uniswap Labs comes to the determination that a feature or service will be sunset, a notice will be posted here. We will ensure that a notice is posted at least 30 days ahead of scheduled non-backwards compatible changes and endeavor to post notices at least 60 days in advance of such changes. Where applicable, we will indicate that a feature is deprecated in our documentation and guides.
Not sooner than 1 week after the change has occurred, we will take down the notice and remove the feature from the documentation and guides.
